It was just an ordinary morning, my lovely partner, Cherudek, was out getting the mail, we live so secluded that we only get it once a week. And I was busy preparing our breakfast, homebaked ryebread and fruits, all of it of course organic, nothing but the best … and maybe a cake afterwards. But he sure didn’t look happy when he came with the mail, I mean sure most of them were bills from my latest gacha and shopping trip, but I had bought him his favourite magazine too !

But it was to no avail, he just looked at me and I knew there was no other way than handing over the creditcard. And then followed by a pointed finger to all my bags. I mean sure there maybe was a couple of boxes I hadn’t opened, but it wasn’t THAT many !
Well okay maybe I didn’t really remember most the stuff I’ve bought cause I just got it and maybe remembered to unpack it.

I guess my sad puppy eyes did have an effect on him cause he’d leaned in to kiss me and suggested maybe to make a little game of it. He knew I loved to decorate the house, so why didn’t I do it only using things I already had, not buying a single thing. It’d give me a good reason to unpack stuff and to get reacquainted with my inventory stock.
So as he went to work, I got started on his office, I figured it was best to make his space finished first to make him less upset !

Now the bedroom was harder, I mean, seriously, look at all his mess !! Maybe mine too, but his ! How was it ever supposed to be fair that I had to tidy up all his undies and ties and stuff. Of course sure I had a couple of shoes randomly laying, but that’s just natural for a woman. One should get suspicious if her shoes are all tidy in place.

I’d love to say I got it all sorted, but let’s be honest though, looking at that bedroom it really didn’t take long before I went back into the kitchen, mixed myself up a lemonade, and went to lay outside at the porch in the sun. Besides I’m sure he’ll be super thankful I had made enough lemonade for when he comes home from a long day at work and his run.
