Josefine couldn’t believe it … had her curse finally lifted, after more than 200 years ? She had lost count of her marriages and the lives she had taken in her attempts.

A curse … cast on her by the witches in her kingdom to punish her father, King Morten. He was rich, rich beyond anything but he’d never share so everyone starved. Her heart cried but she was locked away in the castle.

The curse … the King and his daughter was given immortality until she found someone to marry. It shouldn’t be too hard she was rich, well daddy was rich.

But cursed … as she gave her yes she’d become a monster, not by look, nor by mind, but by action; in a frenzy killing the wedding party and the groom.

Many tried, and many died. Some might have escaped but she always found them and killed them. Though, Anders was different, he hadn’t even flinched, even refused to take the riches to his family that his father always offered as compensation up front. In fact it turned out to be the biggest wedding party ever. 602 people invited. And sure enough, as soon as the marriage was sealed the curse took over her body, it snarled at her groom and ran frenzied to the wedding guest, brutally slaying them. Some fought back but she was immortal.

Then as she turned to Anders he just stood there, never had she seen a man with more love in his eyes, not even in her father’s. And as she rushed to him he opened his arm to welcome her, embraced her and whispered “I love you” as her fingers tried to claw their way into his heart. But his hands calmly took hers, holding in with a strength she’d never felt before and stared into her eyes with that insane love “You cannot kill what is already dead”.

Her body relaxed, she nearly fell to the ground and as he scooped her up into his arms she felt more free than she’d done before.
“I love you my immortal little monster” Their cold lips met in a kiss of warmth and passion.
