She hadn’t been sure what to wear for the show, but the wardrobe of her 50 some dresses should already be in her backstage suite. How ever as she came to her door a young courier was standing there, very flustered when he saw her, red from ear to ear and he stuttered so cutely. “Si.. sig … Signorina Strawberry, mi scusi signorina.” His feet shifted and if at all possible the redness deepened as she turned to face him, smiling “Sì ?” “Don Luigi sends his wishes to see you after the show, per favore, signorina. He sends you this gift”

She glanced over the package the boy held in his arms, it was a dress from one of the best European designers. She knew it had cost a fortune to get it made and send here with such a short notice as from the announcement of her performance till now. She also knew Don Luigi could afford it and the jewels had best be of equal quality if he was to get her attention after the show.
She gave a short nod to her staff who took the packages inside. “What is your name ?” she asked the bright red boy. “Ma.. ma.. Mario, signorina.” She smiled at his shy stutter and leaned to give him a kiss at the cheek and a few coins “Mario, tell Don Luigi he’ll hear from me.”

She turned, only barely hiding a smile of excitement of a new dress.
