“May I help you ma’am ?” The girl behind the glass had said, a bit louder the second time. Maj hadn’t really listened, just starred at the strange man who had just left before her. And it wasn’t until the lady behind her had cleared her throat in a highpitched cough Maj realised it was her turn.
“Apologies miss” Maj mumbled
“May I help you ma’am” the girl repeated in her usual polite tone this time.
“Yes, please a train ticket”
“Of course ma’am, but where to” The girl did a formidable job at hiding her annoyance with Maj.
“I don’t know” Maj replied, suddenly realizing she hadn’t thought that far, she just had needed to get away.
“Well ma’am, in what direction would you like to go ?” The lady behind Maj let out a sigh this time.
“Somewhere I can take a class in advanced spells” Maj answered trying to buy herself time.
“Yes ma’am” The girl smiled at Maj in a way that indicated something was between the lines, just that Maj had no clue. Then reached under the desk to an old fashion typewrite, and placed a ticket in it, typing in the information of a by now rather dumbfound Maj. “If you’d please sign here, and the proceed to the wall right over there” the girl pointed at a VERY solid wall behind Maj. The elderly lady behind Maj had loosened a bit now, giving her a smile. And as she noticed Maj’s confused look, she placed a hand gently at her. “I’ll show you little miss”

And so it came to be that Maj was now standing at this strange platform, it seemed like a dream as the train came in …
