Today we visited the beautiful Effervescent Clefs sponsored by the Realm of Rosehaven and built by Allie Munro. First we did some shopping, of course. Then, while we were looking around in the place in wonder and trying to spot different instruments and artist supplies from the landscape, we heard a sparkling chuckle.

We followed the sound and spotted two peculiar creatures. One was basking in the sun on a rock in the river. She had a fish tail, so she had to be a mermaid! The other one had a teal skin, horns and a huge spear. Maybe she’s a dryad or something like that. Despite of their differences, the two seemed to be friends, though.

We crept closer to say hi. After a moment of chatting, we found out that the two had been friends for nearly three decades and that they met once or twice a week in a riverbank to talk about their lives.

I wish mine and Nim’s friendship lasts that long, too, because I’ve noticed one good friend is better than ten lousy boyfriends. I’ve barely had time to think about Ilyan lately, because I have a friend!

I found quite a few items from the Faire for today’s looks.

For Triste, I wanted to use this beautiful BOM tail base from Flying Horse Head Studio, so I went to Cynefin to get the mermaid tail, because it only works with the Cynefin tail. My beautiful pasties and headpiece are from Antaya.

Most of Nim’s items are from the Faire as well. Her gorgeous skin and horns are made by Petrichor & TRAP, the skin comes in loads of colours, so I’m sure you’ll find your favourite. The outfit’s from Belle Epoque and it worked nicely with the look, because I wanted to show off the skin, so I had to pair it with something skimpy. Lastly, her weapon’s from Artemisia.
